A little about myself, I am a native of North Saint Paul, Minnesota and have lived in Colorado since 2007. I have been married since 2002 and my husband and I have four beautiful children. I have extensive training in the field of mental health and wellness and have completed hundreds of hours of Continuing Education. I specialize in treating: Sexual Trauma, Depression and Anxiety, Parenting Issues, Adoption Related Issues, Dating Relationships, Marriage Relationships, Negative Thought Patterns, Communication and Navigating through Changes.
I earned my bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Minnesota and completed my master's degree in social work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2005. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and maintain current state licensure in the state of Colorado. I serve on the Colorado Post Adoption Resource Center Mental Health Board and am a volunteer mental health therapist for Mental Health America of Colorado doing pro bono work for those in financial need. I am also a certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner with advanced training in trauma therapy.
